Video Game Chair

If you are dying to waste your precious money on an overly complex and ludicrous companion for your gaming career, look no further than a video game chair.

The market has been dominated by selling unsuspecting victims to this so-called “video game chair.” I do hate to rain on the parade people, but before falling for this trap, there are a few things you need to consider that can absolutely not be overlooked.

First of all, plastic is not durable, nor is it comfortable. Why do we always complain about sitting for long durations on football stadium seats or cringe when we thing of our school days spending hours on end in those plastic desks? Experience has taught us that plastic is no bueno for sitting in. Just because a video game chair has a sweet little spiral purple pattern garnishing your seat, does not mean that the essence of plastic or comparable solutions are not as painful as remembered. I promise you, that gaming for a few hours in fancy pants video game chairs will be a flashback after flashback of nothing but painful memories.

If the material factor has not sold you yet, how about we look at the shape angle. A video game chair is usually carefully crafted to resemble some kind of outer space device, and that is appealing I guess. However, we are not aliens. We have backs and legs and arms and some of that normal stuff. These limbs are not happy when we arch for a duration of time, or when are arms are erroneously placed into a wavy pattern. I do not care how it looks, it hurts like nothing else. Bones limit us in this regard, so why the consist difficulty with a gaming chair? If you thing you don’t make that cut, perhaps the games are getting to you.

Quality is also a major factor I the downfall of video gaming chairs. Back to the whole plastic and other manmade, stiff, and solid materials, these substances break. Your game will be affected when you feel like you can’t even move forward in your seat without having to invest in the next game chair. Do yourself a favor. Just don’t.

If you feel like you are left in the dust and that a video game chair is still a necessity, yet you don’t want to be a slave to one, may I suggest a bean bag? Bean bags are anything that a video game chair is not. They are flexible, durable, lightweight, mushable, and perfect for gaming. Seriously, in every single aspect that a video game chair lacks (which is pretty much in most areas when considering a comfortable seat for gaming) bean bag chairs will come in and save the day. Try diverting your attention away from video game chairs, and see the evidence and feel the difference by sinking into a nice bean bag instead. It is a great way to make your wallet, body, and game happy.
